MAN Chenin Blanc
A crisp and refreshing wine with an abundance of fruit on the palate, balanced with minerality and a rich mouthfeel. Sourced from selected older vineyards in the Agter-Paarl region in Western Cape, South Africa. Unirrigated bush-vine vineyards.
Mostly Malmesbury Shale soils. Malmesbury Shale has good water retention and the high clay content imparts minerality and fresh acidity to the wines. Only the free-run juice was used for this wine, with no pressing of the skins. The juice was allowed to ferment over 20 days in stainless steel tanks. Fined and filtered before bottling.
