A fantastic Cachaca that is aged for two years adding smoothnes and softness. This comes from Germana's own estate which was founded over 90 years ago. The estate grows its own sugar cane and bananas all of which are cultivated without pesticides or chemical fertilisers. Once fermented the cane juice is distilled in a traditional copper pot still. Ageing is started in large Balsam wood tanks and followed by completion in 185L French wine, Cognac and Spanish Sherry oak barrels. Unlike most cheap Cachaca brands, this has a pleasant spice/herb/fruit taste and makes a very interesting (and delicious) Caipirinha.
