Paul Jaboulet Aine Cotes du Rhone Parallele 45 Blanc
Domaines Paul Jabloulet Aîné is a winery founded in 1834 that has been handed down from generation to generation for years. In 2006 it was acquired by the Frey family, who make Champagne and are also the owners of Château La Lagune in Bordeaux.
Jaboulet Côtes du Rhône Blanc Parallèle 45 owes its name to the 45th parallel North, which passes 2 kilometres from the winery. Nearby, on the lower river Rhône, in the town of Pont d’Isère, they built a monument on which “the South begins here” can be read. This wine has been made under the same name since the early 1950s.
