Dal Zotto Pinot Grigio

The Dal Zotto story began when Otto came to the King Valley in the late 1960’s and met Elena. Otto was immediately entranced, not just by his future wife but by the beauty of the region, strikingly similar to his home in north east Italy. Tobacco was the crop of choice at the time, but in the back of Otto and Elena’s minds was the dream of vineyards. This dream became a reality in 1987 with their new property in Cheshunt and the planting of the first vines. Over time, more vines followed including the introduction of Italian varieties in 1994. A second generation of Dal Zottos have joined Otto and Elena in their ongoing vision with sons Michael as Winemaker and Christian as Marketing Manager. And with plenty of grandchildren, the Dal Zotto story is truly just beginning…
