Mada Wines Nebbiolo Rose

Mada Wines produces a collection of passionately made small-batch wines from the Canberra region. Winemaker Hamish Young, guided by a philosophy of ‘celebrating origin’ and drawing on his deep familiarity with the region, delivers generous wines which retain their delicacy and demonstrate an abiding respect for his craft.

The Mada Rose has a delicate pale colour, enticing aromas of cherry, raspberry and some herbal spice, and a dry finish that borders on savoury. There’s some partial whole bunch juice, and a third of the fruit was fermented in old French oak. The end result is just super Rose drinking, with a classy edge.
