Voliero Rosso di Montalcino

Voliero is another estate from Andrea Cortonesi, this time from the cooler northern slopes of Montalcino.

The wines from Volerio are more refined and eleant, sometimes almost Burgundian in their silken texture.

The Rosso is 100% Sangiovese from 15-25 year old vines grown in clay soils.
