Spinifex La Maline 2021
The 2021 growing season and vintage conditions were close to historical averages. Solid winter and spring rains were a great start to the season but uneven weather through spring negatively affected flowering. The weather approaching and during the harvest was generally mild, dry, and without tribulation. Fruit was harvested in good condition, yields were variable but generally close to average, wines show lovely balance, flavour depth and freshness.

Nose:
Sandalwood, cardamom, mace and pepper - fuse with deeper
fresh leather, ink, char and dark chocolate notes. Fruit aromatics are cool and dark, spiced black cherry and tart blackberry laced Asian basil and dried marjoram.
Palate:
Sour dark plum fruits on attack turns to red plum and raspberry fruits, the flavours and feel of pomegranate and cocoa build towards the finish.
