Peter Lehmann The Bond Shiraz

With his word as his bond, many growers in the Barossa sold fruit to Peter Lehmann on a handshake agreement; many of which are still honoured today. These longstanding relationships give them unrivalled access to some of the finest quality grapes across the length and breadth of the region to craft their wines.

Following a period of uncertainty, Peter Lehmann Wines was born to preserve a winemaking community, and save it from detriment during the great fruit surplus of the late 1970s.

The Bond is created to honour Peter and his promise. A fullbodied Barossa Shiraz, this wine is made from premium parcels of fruit, and barrel aged for added complexity of flavour, mouthfeel and aged character.
