Mas de Libian Bout d’Zan
Bout d’Zan refers to a traditional French licorice sweet (Zan) but it was also the nickname of grower Hélène Thibon’s father in his childhood. This comes from 35-year-old biodynamically managed vines rooted in a range of highland soils-some galets roulés (rolled alluvial ‘pudding’ stones), some sandy clay, and some lower-lying limestone parcels.
