Maretti Langhe Rosso
The Maretti Langhe Rosso weaves rich and opulent Barbera (70%) with the haunting aromas and structure of Nebbiolo (30%) to create an inviting and rewarding wine with layers of complexity – one that is truly expressive of this unique wine region. The vineyards of Piemonte ((Piedmont) are planted in the foothills of the Alps in the north west of Italy. The region is home to the finest full-bodied red wines in Italy. The greatest wines of the region are made from the extremely long lived Nebbiolo, from the iconic appellations of Barolo and Barbaresco. However the lively and fruit driven Barbera grape offers excellent drinking pleasure at a much younger age.
