Kooyong Massale Pinot Noir 2023
The Kooyong vineyard is located on the Mornington Peninsula at Tuerong, on Miocene sedimentary soils. Kooyong wines are made from domain grown, handpicked grapes and aim to manifest terroir: the integration of their geology and soils with the macroclimate of the region, the mesoclimates of the various sites within the vineyard and the weather of the annual grape growing season. Kooyongs cultural operations in the vineyard and practices in the winery endeavour to articulate these unique characteristics diligently, respectfully and without artifice.
The Kooyong Massale is an estate blend of Pinot Noir parcels from Kooyong’s Tuerong and Balnarring vineyards. The parcels in this wine represent 13.5 hectares.
