BINDI ‘Darshan’ Pinot Noir 2020

This vineyard was planted in 2014 to 11,300 and 22,600 vines per hectare. In this low cropping season the 4,750 vines produced just under 1,000 bottles.

With nearly four years in bottle the 2020 Darshan is beginning to develop brown spice and undergrowth/earthy complexity to work alongside its signature rose fragrance and red fruit aromatics. It makes for an ethereal introduction. The palate is initially supple and fresh before building texture and drive through fine grained, gently chewy tannin.

It will improve in complexity and finesses over the next five years and hold for five beyond that.
