Amisfield Pinot Noir 2021

Set against the backdrop of the majestic Pisa mountain range, Amisfield is one of the largest single estate vineyards in Central Otago. They recently completed the 5 year process of converting all of their vines to organic viticulture and were named as Organic Vineyard of the Year 2020 as part of that process.

Their simple philosophy is to nurture nature at every step and their hands-off approach means that their process takes time, with their wines yielding exceptional purity, intensity and vibrancy.

A medium bodied expression of the Amisfield Estate. Bright, perfumed red and blue fruit aromatics, typical of the Pisa subregion. The flavours carry through on the palate, matched with fine, silken tannins, derived from both fruit and careful oak use.

A defining feature of the vintage is a fresh acid line that drives the wine through the finish.
