Schobers Classic Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
The iconic 40 year old Schobers vineyard is located at the southern end of the Clare Valley, South Australia, 4km north of Auburn and adjacent to Leasingham and the Riesling Trail.
Schobers stems from the German word for haystacks and thier logo perfectly reflects the estate’s rolling hills and dry grown, contour planted vines, established by Leasingham, who were taken over by Hardys and eventually Constellation Wines Australia, from whom the current owners purchased the vineyard.
With 48 hectares of Shiraz, 15 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon and 2 hectares of Riesling, Schobers is a highly regarded vineyard with an outstanding history of producing quality wines deservedly earning its reputation as one of the top twenty red wine vineyards in the country.
