Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé 2012

A buoyant mousse dissipates to reveal a salmon pink coloured base that’s finely threaded by a persistent bead. Jumping out of the glass are notions of cherry, strawberry and blood orange fruits that are pitted against yeast lees and light baked bread notes. Quite full and voluminous in the mouth, the palate is presented with a concentrated flavour profile of cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry fruits which intermingle with notions of yeast lees. Finishes dry and crisp with a chalky mineral character flowing through to the long aftertaste.
