Paul Jaboulet Aine Cotes du Rhone Parallele 45 Blanc 2019

Jaboulet Côtes du Rhône Blanc Parallèle 45 is a white wine from the AOC Côtes du Rhone made with White Grenache, Marsanne, Viognier and Bourboulenc grapes by Domaines Paul Jabloulet Aîné.

Domaines Paul Jabloulet Aîné is a winery founded in 1834 that has been handed down from generation to generation for years. In 2006 it was acquired by the Frey family, who make Champagne and are also the owners of Château La Lagune in Bordeaux.

Jaboulet Côtes du Rhône Blanc Parallèle 45 owes its name to the 45th parallel North, which passes 2 kilometres from the winery. Nearby, on the lower river Rhône, in the town of Pont d’Isère, they built a monument on which “the South begins here” can be read. This wine has been made under the same name since the early 1950s.

Jaboulet Côtes du Rhône Blanc Parallèle 45 is a young wine with a light barrel ageing, since half of the wine is aged for 2-3 months in French oak barrels to give it complexity before bottling.

Jaboulet Côtes du Rhône Blanc Parallèle 45 is a Rhone white that is floral and fruity, and produced with native varieties.
