Another pink gin has hit the market and we say keep them coming. Called Squealing Pig Rosé Gin, the newly released spirit gets its pretty pink tint from a splash of rosé wine, rather than the usual fruits or berries.

Marking the first spirit by the Otago-based winery, the new gin is made from 10 botanicals, including juniper berries, lavender, citrus peel, peppermint and rosemary, along with Squealing Pig Rosé wine. The result is an alluring drink, which tastes of bright citrus, blossoms and spices, with lifted strawberry on the finish.

Alongside tonic, the new rosé gin is said to pair well with soda water, grapefruit and mint, which complements its light, delicate flavours.
