Little Giant Shiraz is crafted from fruit sourced from select premium vineyards of both the Barossa Valley and Eden Valley. Picked in the cool of the morning to retain freshness, the fruit is de-stemming and fermented in stainless steel tank. The wine then spent nine months in used large format French and American oak barrels to build structure whilst softening the palate and develop flavour complexity without overt extraction of oak characters.

Nose:
The Barossa Valley component shows typical plum, red licorice, chocolate and mocha characters whilst the addition of the spicier, darker fruit of the cooler Eden Valley has added lift, interest and freshness.
Palate:
This is a contemporary Barossa Shiraz having spent maturation time in older oak adding subtle vanilla and match stick nuance but also softens it whilst maintaining freshness and vibrancy.
