First released in 1989, The award winning Thomas Hardy Cabernet Sauvignon is one of Hardys greatest wines and a fitting tribute to the founder’s passion for winemaking. As south Australia’s first winemaker Thomas’s vision was to ‘create wines that will be prized in the markets of the world’. So continuing his vision, each year Hardy's select the best parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Coonawara, Margaret River and Frankland River regions to create a refined and elegant wine, rich in flavour and with an outstanding palate.

Nose:
Floral aromas of sweet red cherries, raspberries and violets overlie cedar/vanilla oak and undertones of dried herbs and dark olives.
Palate:
Full to medium in weight, It's firm and fine-grained, with a vibrant length of restrained small black and red berry flavours, over chalky tannins and dusty, fine-grained chocolate-like oak. Elegant and harmonious, it finishes with a slightly greenish aspect.
