Nose:
Pinot gris is a white wine grape variety with rose coloured skins and is typically made into a white wine. Eden Road allow a small amount of skin contact to encourage some colour but more importantly some texture from phenolics in their pinot gris. The result is a lovely blush coloured, textural, and crunchy pinot gris.
Palate:
The wine shows strawberry shortcake and nashi pear aromas and has a delicate and refreshing palate.
