Domaine Rieflé Côtes de Rouffach Riesling 2009
The terroirs of Domaine Rieflé are located in the vicinity of the municipalities of Pfaffenheim, Rouffach, Westhalten and Soultzmatt, on the fracture fields of the Marbach and Ohmbach faults. They form a mosaic of very fragmented geological compartments. The CÔTE DE ROUFFACH includes under its banner massive soils, often limestone and filtering. They offer power, warmth and minerality to the wines they create. This Riesling comes from plots on the so-called Rossgarten, Ettle and Gaentzbrunnen. The first two are characterized by loess sedimentary soils while the latter rests on clay conglomerates deposited on deep marls.
