Chateau de Vaudieu Chateauneuf du Pape 2014

The impressive buildings at Chateau de Vaudieu were built in 1767 by an admiral Gerin from the Marseille admiralty. In the 19th century the wines from Vaudieu had a high reputation. The domain was one of four exporting producers in Chateauneuf du Pape.

It was under the leadership of Gabriel and Juliet Meffre the property acquired its current size with 70 hectares of estate owned vineyards. In 1987, their daughter Sylvette Bréchet took over the destiny of this magnificent property. She was joined in 1990 by her son Laurent. Through their involvement, the cellar was modernized to separately accommodate 32 redélimitées plots to get the best potential of each terroir.
