Nose:
Dark walnut colour with pale gold rim and dark chestnut highlights. Intense and layered bouquet. Leaping from the glass are raisins, dried plum and other dried fruits, cocoa, coffee, fruitcake, tea chest, mixed spices (star anise, nutmeg, cassia bark), quince paste, and ginger-nut. Supple, medium weight and complex.
Palate:
Excellent depth of flavours, resonating layers of dried fruits, spice and elegant wood-age characters. Vibrant and luscious finish. Subtle warmth of sweetness and spirit completes the experience.
