Ca' del Baio Nebbiolo Langhe 2016
The grapes for this wine are carefully selected by various family Nebbiolo vineyards. The harvest by hand takes place in September, and the grapes are then destemmed and pressed immediately. The subsequent fermentation takes place in the temperature-controlled stainless steel tank. Subsequently, the expansion takes place over a period of 12 months in large oak barrels and only after a half year bottle aging, the wine finally comes into the trade. This Nebbiolo has fine fruity and balsamic aromas. The palate is very fresh with good harmony and structure. The tannins are supple, the acid is well integrated, and the finish has medium length. It goes well with poultry, pasta, pizza and lasagna. He is ready to drink immediately and for the next eight years. The winery operates integrated viticulture and does not use hebubicides, fungicides or pesticides in the vineyard and no ingredients in wine making.
