For Bollinger, champagne is first and foremost a fine wine. The art of winemaking begins with the vines, on the gentle chalk slopes which undulate as far as the eye can see. The Bollinger vineyard, one of the most prestigious of the Champagne winegrowing area, reflects a little of the House’s soul.

white meat or poultry, such as a rabbit terrine, or poule au pot.
This wine is entirely barrel fermented, in 5 year old 225 liter cooperage purchased from Burgundy.
A delicate hue with golden reflections. Honey, gingerbread and cinnamon aromas; subtle notes of dried fruits (hazelnut) and dried flowers onn the nose.
The palate is mature, supple and full with a long finish with hints of pastry, candied orange and ripe fruit flavours. Grande Annee, the name, signifies that Bollinger’s vintage champagne is only released during ‘great’ years.
