Artea Alpes de Haute Provence Rose

An IGP title that covers wines from the administrative
department of the same name in the foothills of the Alps. It
exists to give a geographical classification to wines which do
not qualify (either stylistically or geographically) for AOC-level
Coteaux de Pierrevert.
Given the altitude and vineyard sites, hot sunny days are
followed by much cooler nights and a lighter, more aromatic
style is the hallmark of the wines. Predominant varieties are
consistent with classic Provencal blends of Grenache, Syrah &
Cinsault.
