The Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill, a prestigious vintage from Maison Pol Roger, has was created in homage to Sir Winston Churchill, with references to qualities that he appreciated in Champagne: robustness, structure and maturity. Even if its exact composition is a secret jealously guarded by the members of the family, it is undeniable that it is based on a formula that its dedicatee would not have denied.
Composed exclusively of grapes from great wines of Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, this vintage is only produced in limited quantities and in best vintages. The predominance of Pinot Noir undoubtedly ensures the structure, fullness and robustness of the whole, while the Chardonnay gives it elegance, finesse and impertinence.

Nose:
The nose, all balanced, is still shy with already a pretty patina. Notes white flowers, citrus fruits and dried apricots mingle with a fragrance of blond tobacco and subtly peppery sweet spices.
Palate:
On the palate, the attack is frank and highlighted by a beautiful freshness. Minerality and tension combine in a complex and elegant structure. The plot is both invigorating and fulfilling. Aromas of blood orange and pastry are enhanced with a touch of fresh raspberry.
