Cantina di Gambellara Monopolio Pinot Grigio
Founded in 1947, the Cantina of Gambellara unites nearly 300 dedicated members cultivating 600 hectares in the enchanting appellation between Vicenza and Verona, near Soave. Although a hidden gem outside Italy, Gambellara holds a special place in local hearts. In 2015, it joined forces with Cantina dei Colli Vicentini, with winemaking expertly led by Alberto Marchisio, who harnesses the region’s distinctive volcanic soils.
The Pinot Grigio grapes are grown in select vineyards on south-facing hillsides, 50-150 meters above sea level. The vines, trained using the Guyot system, thrive in calcareous, well-drained soils. We manage our vineyards with a strong commitment to protecting biodiversity and the environment.
